The short version
We collect what the service needs and nothing else. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and no part of this site loads fonts, scripts or images from anyone else's server — your IP address is not handed to a CDN just for visiting.
What we hold
- Your email address and a hashed password. We never store the password itself.
- Your plan, renewal date, credit balance and how many searches, plates and 3D models you have used.
- Your garage: the cars you added, their specification, what you paid, your notes, photographs you upload, and images we generate for you.
- Your searches and market watches, so you can return to them.
- Your preferences: display name, currency and notification settings.
The VIN
A VIN identifies a specific vehicle and, through it, often its owner. If you record one it is stored for you alone. It is never shown on a shared garage page, never included in anything we publish, and never passed to anyone else.
Sharing your garage
A garage is private until you switch sharing on in Settings. When you do, anyone with the link can see the vehicles and their market values. What you paid, your gain or loss, your notes and your VIN are never shown on that page. Switch sharing off and the link stops working.
Who else touches your data
Two parties, both necessary:
- Stripe — takes payment. They receive your email address and card details; we receive neither the card nor its number.
- Our own GPU machines — process the photograph you supply when you ask for a catalogue plate or a 3D model. These are our machines, not a cloud service, and the photograph is not sent anywhere else.
Listing data
We read publicly available listings from auction houses and marketplaces to build our sales record. That record is about vehicles, not about the people selling them: we keep the car, the price, the date and the source link, and we honour each site's crawling rules.
How long we keep it
Your account data lives as long as your account does. Delete a vehicle and its record and generated images go with it. Ask us to close your account and everything personal is removed; the anonymous sales record about vehicles remains, because it describes cars rather than you.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or UK, you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it erased, and you can object to how we use it. Write to us and we will act within a month. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.
Cookies
One cookie, holding your signed-in session. It is not used to track you and there is nothing to consent to beyond staying signed in.
